Should I create a Yahoo profile?
Definitely. If you don't have one, and are subscribed to the list, it
means you receive messages of the list but do not have access to the group's
web features.
Groups web features include:
Message management -- easily control the frequency of email messages
you receive.
Membership management -- easily join or leave groups, all in one place.
More -- get access to message archives, photos, files, calendars, polls
and more.
What's more, when other members look at the members
list, they can identify you. Only list members with
a profile can go to the website and post to the list.

I'm receiving email from eTeachNet, but
when I visit the group page, I'm not recognized as a member.
To get full access to the group, otherwise known as "web membership,"
please follow the instructions below:
Go to the Yahoo!
Groups Membership Wizard.
You will be asked to sign in with your Yahoo! ID. (If you are not a
registered Yahoo! member, you may sign up for a free account on this
page. Once you complete your registration, you will be returned to the
Membership Wizard.)
Make sure the email address where you are receiving messages from the
group appears in the Membership Wizard. If it does not appear, add it
via the link provided. (If you add an address, you will be sent a verification
email to that address to assure that you own it. Please check your email
and follow the instructions in the message sent to you.)
Once your email address appears in the Memberhip Wizard as verified,
continue with the the steps in the wizard to convert your memberships
to "web memberships."
Upon
completing the Membership Wizard, you should be recognized upon returning
to the group and shouldn't experience this problem with the addresses
you've just converted in the future.
You should also be able to:
Access your group web features, such as Photos, Files, Calendar, and
more.
Easily control the email delivery settings for all of your groups,
via the Groups web site.
Just visit the My Groups page.
I am already a member of the list. I have trouble
creating a Yahoo ! Profile
Ask the
to send you a 'request profile'
How do I get digests?
To get digests instead of separate mails, you have
to go to eteachnet
at Yahoo and use their web interface. And this sends you back to should
I create a Yahoo profile.
But you can also send a message to the moderators
and they'll do it for you.

How do I upload or download files on the site?
You
must have a Yahoo Profile
Once you have one, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eTeachNet/
Click Files in the lefthand side menu and
click Add Files*
You will be asked to Click Browse to select
a file to upload. If you do not see the Browse button, your browser
does not support file uploading. In fact, for some reason, the Browse
button is a Parcourir Button
You may want to put your file(s) in a folder, so before uploading the
file, create a folder and give it a name.
I uploaded a file into the wrong folder. Can I move it?
Yes! Just use Yahoo's cut-and-paste functions to move the file.
Click on the Cut link next to the file you want to move. You'll notice
the file will move to your "clipboard."
Go to the folder where you'd like to move the file.
Click on the Paste link.
